Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, and XanGo.

Have any of you heard of this? I did for the first time on Friday. It's supposed to be really, really good for you. A neighbor of mine had some and told me about it. So, naturally I went out and bought some the next day at Good Earth Health Food Store. I mixed it in with my XanGo juice yesterday morning. I think I'll do that from now on. It kind of masks the vinegar taste a bit. You can read more about the benefits of ACV here.

I've been faithful at drinking my XanGo juice each day for the past two weeks now. It's amazing to me that I have worked for this company for the past 5 years and have only used the juice here and there. I mean people would do anything to get their hands on some XanGo, because of all the health benefits it has and does for them. We raised the price by $20 back in March. Distributors were upset! Many opted to get out and stop using it, only to call back a few months later saying they couldn't live without it anymore and needed to get back in.

So, my dear friend, and fellow Manager, Violeta, told me I needed to drink it everyday. Why? Because it would help with my blood pressure. So, I've taken on that challenge with her, and so far I feel good.

Now, mixing this with the ACV could be a match made in heaven!

Inspiration

Here's a little thing that inspires me to keep going, start fresh, get motivated, get moving...whatever you want to call it.

Shabby Apple dresses. Love these, and hope to own one, one of these days - and look OH-SO-SHABBY FAB in it! Specifically the Navy and Black dress...among many others they have. Love them! I want to fit in one of them without getting them in a "Plus Size".

yes, I'm still here.

But man, do I ever feel un-motivated. I don't know what my deal is. Someone once told me that I have an addictive personality. I can totally see it.  I'll go "gung-ho" on something for a few months, and then get bored with it, and then stop. Then I'll get "gung-ho" about something else...get bored...and stop. I do this ALL THE TIME, and I don't know why I just can't keep going.

It's crazy seeing Ryan continue losing weight and me staying the same weight I was. Thank goodness I haven't gained back what I've lost, but I haven't lost any more. He's now down about 45 lbs, and he's under the "200's". Wow - he's amazing!

So, here I sit at my desk at work knowing I need to make yet another change. My goal this week is to use my Leisure time wisely. This was actually a lesson I gave in my YW class yesterday at Church. We talked about ways we can use our time to better ourselves. There was a phrase in the lesson that really hit me hard. It was something to the fact of, "the way we spend our leisure time determines what kind of a life we lead". I've been lazy. Really lazy. I always hated that word. Probably because I knew it described me.

Anyway, so this week the goal I gave myself and for my girls is to really focus on spending our time wisely and treasure those things we can and should be doing instead of being on facebook all the time, or constantly watching TV. Move around more, work on a project, develop our talents, exercise, etc.

Another thing I'm going to try and accomplish this week is to start the day with a Green Smoothie. Had one this morning and it was yummy! I've missed making these.

Here's to another week!

Bad habits

I let myself get out of the habit of  making my lunches and taking them to work everyday. And because I haven't been doing this, when lunch time rolls around I'm searching for anything to curb my hunger pangs.

Those "anythings" aren't always the best choices. Especially when people are having potlucks around here, and the theme is definitely not a healthy one.

It's time to get back into the good habits again, once and for all. I have to do it.
