yes, I'm still here.

But man, do I ever feel un-motivated. I don't know what my deal is. Someone once told me that I have an addictive personality. I can totally see it.  I'll go "gung-ho" on something for a few months, and then get bored with it, and then stop. Then I'll get "gung-ho" about something else...get bored...and stop. I do this ALL THE TIME, and I don't know why I just can't keep going.

It's crazy seeing Ryan continue losing weight and me staying the same weight I was. Thank goodness I haven't gained back what I've lost, but I haven't lost any more. He's now down about 45 lbs, and he's under the "200's". Wow - he's amazing!

So, here I sit at my desk at work knowing I need to make yet another change. My goal this week is to use my Leisure time wisely. This was actually a lesson I gave in my YW class yesterday at Church. We talked about ways we can use our time to better ourselves. There was a phrase in the lesson that really hit me hard. It was something to the fact of, "the way we spend our leisure time determines what kind of a life we lead". I've been lazy. Really lazy. I always hated that word. Probably because I knew it described me.

Anyway, so this week the goal I gave myself and for my girls is to really focus on spending our time wisely and treasure those things we can and should be doing instead of being on facebook all the time, or constantly watching TV. Move around more, work on a project, develop our talents, exercise, etc.

Another thing I'm going to try and accomplish this week is to start the day with a Green Smoothie. Had one this morning and it was yummy! I've missed making these.

Here's to another week!

This is drastic but the best thing I did to free up time was cancel facebook and myspace. I had withdrawals for months because I love to know what people are doing and thinking. The only thing I kept was my blog because it's more like a journal and seriously I am so amazed at how much time was freed up. Then I have to make myself accountable for filling my free time so Matt always asks me what I'm going to accomplish for the day. Drives me nuts but keeps me focused on what I need to do. Still really busy with 3 yard monkeys to take care of.
