Gosh, it's sure been a while since I've posted on here. Life has been BUSY. My sister Erin, that is 18 mos. older than me, is getting married this Saturday, and having the reception the evening before. My younger sister and I have been helping with the planning and getting things going. It's going to be a beautiful/fun next few days.
I'm still working hard on getting my health on. I've reached a little bit of a plateau, and at times I haven't been envisioning myself getting smaller. I need to focus again. I'm not eating bad...but I haven't been exercising like I should. I have felt my body "feel" out of whack a little because of the lack of exercise. Not that I'm living a sedentary life...I just haven't gone to the gym. I've done resistance training at home, but not cardio. I like how I feel after cardio even though I prefer lifting weights. I need to get back in the habit.
I have 2 weeks left of this FAVAO lifestyle that I've been doing the past 10 weeks. It was a big secret before so I wasn't able to talk alot about it on here. But basically I eat clean for 12 weeks. I eat 6 smaller meals a day, and have a specific workout plan I do each day. Along with all of this I take these supplements from my work. It's been awesome. I've lost 9 lbs and 5" around my waist, 3 around my arms, and 2 around my thighs. Things have been good, but I have been sick 3 different times during these past 10 weeks. It made it difficult to work out and eat all my 6 meals. Twice I got a bronchial infection and then once I got the stomach flu - not fun.
I do feel happy to be in smaller sized jeans...but I realize that I've got a long way to go still. I don't want to feel like what I've done is enough because it's not. I have about 73 more lbs to go. The journey seems daunting, but I can do it. I CAN DO HARD THINGS. It's just a matter of patience, persistence, determination, and not giving up.
I can do this.
