I'm tired of cooking...

...I really am. I long for the evenings when I can just throw a pizza in the oven and not worry about making a mess, washing dishes, etc. Are there any really healthy meals that I can just toss in the oven without the prep work?

I mean, I'm enjoying eating healthier. We can both feel a huge difference in how we feel, and in how our clothes feel. But man, the thought of coming home from a stressful day at work, and having to cook a meal, and then clean it all up is something I dread at times...most of the time.

I've heard of people making a whole bunch of meals and then freezing them so that you can just pop them into the oven. I need to look into this more.

Anyone have any ideas, thoughts on how to make this easier, while staying healthier?

I've got a bunch of freezer-type meals, that are healthy, figured out with Weight Watchers points. I need to get on this band wagon you're on! If you want to come look through some or have me e-mail you recipes, let me know. :)

Make a bunch of meals ahead on a Saturday morning. Freeze them all. Pull one out before you leave to work (put in fridge), then pop it in the oven. Simple. Or crock pot it. Make a weekly menu; get up 30 mins earlier and make your meal by putting it all together in the crock pot and have it ready and waiting when you walk in the door.

freezer meals are a great thing! I love them. I haven't done them for a bit, but It helps when you are in a hurry.

I love to cook(I'm a little insane) but the freezer meals actually work out quite nicely. They have tons of websites sometimes it's called once of a month cooking. My sis in law actually started a group where they cooked once a month altogether to make a certain amount of meals. I use them for after I have my babies because cooking is that last thing you think of when you're exhausted. Also someone was telling me about this buffet called sweet tomatoes that looked delightful with soups and salad buffet type stuff. YUM!!
